PAM27-worth to collect??

i need an advise from this forum gentleman that what do you think about PAM27? is it worth to collect? becauase I have chance to get it with US$5600 from my friend....this PAM27 have 3 hands (hour, minutes and second) it is very unique and very different if comapred to others pam model.....highly appreciated you may share your thinking with me...thanks

Hi, for me, this is a watch that could be liked by a few people, for its not-so-busy dial. For me, the word "collectable" should mean sandwich dial. Other collectables like the 4B (some consider it) are not. Many collectors, especially of Panerai, don't like the power reserve in the face (or, in your face!), but rather on the back. To be collectable I think Pam DNA is important, in my book. This watch veers towards simplicity than towards being busy, so may be liked by a few, but I think the power reserve just kills it.

Define collect? You want something rare and sought after. Check out the PAM 27 silver arrow. Just google that. It is more "collectible". Now if you just want to wear the 27, sure why not if you love it.

Thanks, silver arrow is look more nice.....but I think it is very to get it.....as said it is very rare....Thanks for your info.

My local shop has one, and I think it is a very handsome looking watch. I really like the dial. If it pleases you, that should be enough of a reason to choose it.
