power reserve question
I have a 2005 Rolex sea dweller, when i wear the watch it runs great its about 4-5 minutes fast per month, it has never had a service yet... i know! but keeps good time. if i don't wear the watch for 15-20 hours it stops and has to be re wound / worn. Is this normal for a watch that hasn't been serviced? I mean should I stop wearing it and get it serviced? thanks guys. here is a picture of her!

Well with any automatic watch it will only run to whatever the mainspring has in its power reserve. Now even when worn you don't always top the mainspring up to full power but just enough to keep it running for a few hours.Try a full manual wind 40 full crown turns clockwise only, then watch should run between 39 -48 hours while off wrist. If that works mainspring power reserve is fine, your watch is approaching its service time. But I myself even if worn I still give my watches a wind once or twice a week.

I would echo Peter and add..
No, you are just not very active.. Wind your watch every week and it will probably keep better time and maintain a better power reserve.
