The Lemania movement in the post-1968 Speedmaster is a cam lever movement built to economy. And mine must have been the only one that wasn't bullet-proof. Needed 5 trips to Omega to finally get it right so I could sell it. History? Look for a Speedy pre-pro with no crown or pusher guards, then stow it and wear your Rolex.

last time i had this war between the 2 and only can keep one, the Speedy won.
but it's hard not to love the SD, the best of the sub derivative IMO. |
