get fingerprint marks off the polished bracelet, dial, bezel? Do you use the cloth that comes with the box? Or other various methods?

The cloth is a great solution. You can also wash the watch on a daily basis and after that dry it with a cotton towel

Yup, Frostie's right ...simple cloth that comes with it is safe or you can rinse it with warm water and a light soap, then dry with a soft cotton towel. Every now and then, it's good to brush the bracelet with a soft toothbrush and mild soap to get the dirt out, including underneath the clasp.

Well, I for my part don't polish my watch all the time for two reasons:

1) I am too lazy to bother polishing it all the time. As soon as you've polished all the shiny steel parts, they get smudged again!

2) Actually, if you polish your watch all the time you risk making micro scratches on the polished surface, reason being that small particles of dust and dirt collect on the smudge from fingerprints, etc., and if you just polish over that you risk that the "mixture" of body fat/fingerprints/dirt/dust literally acts as sandpaper.

Better just wash your Rolex once a week, using lukewarm water and a MILD (!) liquid handwashing soap.

Lint free towels are great for that. You can buy them at Walmart and Autozone.

Occassionally, if I notice that the crystal is dirty, or there are some prints on the bracelet, I wipe it on a pant-leg.....or a shirt sleeve.

I also find myself giving it a once over with the restaraunt napkin after a meal....

Or you could do like Bo and JJ....When it gets dirty....toss it..

Mine never get a dirty.

Just use a lint-free cloth, the kind supplied by any Optometrist to clean your eyeglass lens. That's the best kind.

Now I think of it I always use the napkin or tablecloth to buff my Rolex when I'm out for dinner.

Sometimes several times during the evening when its obviously not dirty.

I try to keep in mind what Bo said about polishing a lot can actually make tiny scratches because of the dust, etc. acting like a sandpaper on the watch. However, when I do polish it I use an old silk pocket square. It's really soft and seems to do a great job

With the brushed SS on the SD I don't have to worry about it. For the crystal, I use my shirt sleeve, napkin or pants leg - no worries!

I just use soap, water & a towel, sometimes when I sit at the pc I'll have a watch wrapped in one of those jeweller's polishing clothes & move the watch around 10 minutes, shines the TT Sub a real treat
