For most people an emergency watch of this nature would be a g shock. I'm guessing yours is a Survivor or End of Days?

How pedestrian! It's probably a Carbon Concept!

My Emergency watch is a Breitling Emergency on rubber strap with coral dial. Literally an Emergency. It is an amazing watch one that I've had for 10 years or more and one that just came back from a service looking brand new. Without doubt my favourite watch that left no room for anything else, until now.

Here's a couple of pics of when it arrived. My wife had one too so that is hers on the left.

I will eventually take some proper pics if only for the insurance and then I'll post a couple.

Thanks.

I've also had it on good authority from TSW that there are no options available to me for alternative straps or bands. Thanks for all the help and information.

You can get one custom made in Paris, they're meant to be amazing. AP recommend the company themselves when someone wants a strap made that isn't available. Apparently a guy had one made from a basketball!

Thanks, I just wanted a regular rubber strap for ease and every day use. I'll just order a spare strap from AP and see how long they last.

I appreciate the suggestion though.

OMG, amazing pick up. You need to find 44mm straps to fit your case.

Thanks for the nice comments. I can't disagree of course.

Just FYI this all started because I wanted a rubber strap. It has become evident that I can't get anything other than the original and so I've ordered one as a spare. As it happens the original strap is very comfortable and we shall see how durable it is.

On another note I found out today that my watch's retail price was reduced by just 7.5% rather than some of the far greater numbers I've seen over in the price discussion thread. At the same time I heard that the dealer cost just rose 10% higher, so in real terms that's a price increase in my mind. Regardless though, it is irrelevant to me and probably to anyone that keeps their watch through the next price increases.

Regards to all, but I've found out all I need about my strap quest, so thank you very much and enjoy your watches in the best of health and don't let the pricing change affect your regard for a great brand too badly, I'm sure that given time all will even itself out.
