Panerai luminor marina "miami boutique" bal harbour

Hey guys,
Hope everyone is sound and well.

Unfortunately, here things in my country (Cyprus) are not so well because of the European bailout as you've heard...

Anyway, into the point. My brother in law is about to purchase the panerai luminor marina "miami edition" and he wanted some basic info about it, and I thought to help him out by asking you guys. (Mine and his knowledge on panerai's is not so good).

well, basically he likes the watch and he is willing to give the money because i remember that he wanted a Panerai for years now. But the thing that got us both concerned is the fact that Is the limited edition extra money worth it? meaning that because it is a 100 piece edition, will it be kind of "collectible" in the near or wider future?? Also, what about the other limited editions? the las vegas and beverly hills etc??

nevertheless, i agree with him that the watch is simply stunning..!!

please give us a hint.
thanks

these 4XX boutiques are being released with every Boutique opening and hate to say it, they are diluting the brand a bit with these quasi-Special/Boutique Editions..(this coming from a guy with two of them)..

buy it if the Boutique on the back has some special meaning (mine is my hometown and my current town)...or if you really like the watch itself..

with the increased number of boutiques, these pieces will not likely be too collectable..
now if Panerai reverse course and close these locations..we have something to talk about...

There might be only 100 pieces of the Miami Edition but there are thousands of the same watch out there, marketed under Beverly Hills Edition, New York Edition, Paris Edition, Florence Edition..........on and on. The only difference between them is the casebacks are engraved for each city, otherwise, they're all the same.

Don't get me wrong.......its a great looking watch......pure Panerai DNA but, its not really all that special.

Hi .. I was looking quite the topic and my personal opinion is that none of these PAM sold as limited edition that has significant value in the future. I think there is so much fantasy. Again that is my humble opinion.
If you need to find out something I live a few blocks from the Bal Harbour boutique.
By the way..I love the panerai watches and I own one.

I think I paid 6100 LNIB from a user on here...but I have seen them offered elsewhere at like 8k...

The boutique editions are only special if the city has special meaning to you...

I love Miami so every time I look at the back of it I am like

When a flurry of Boutique SE came out a few years back, such as Beverly Hills (I bought one back then), the price was $5,100. Some of the Boutiques also had a very limited second SE, Luminor with a 10 day power reserve, reference Pam 406 (only 20 made). The standard BH Boutique Editions (like your Bal Harbour Edition) was Pam 416
