GMT II-C hour hand not moving?
It's been about 2 weeks since I last wore my M series II-C. I wound it 40 revs and pulled the stem out to set the time. The hour hand had a strange feel to it, not "snapping" in either the forward or reverse direction. I set the time correctly and left it on my dresser for the day. Last night, the GMT hand was where it should have been, but the hour hand had not moved. This morning, the date wheel had not indexed. Somehow, it seems to have slipped a cog. Ideas?

Something sounds amiss, is it under warranty? Sounds like it might need to head back to the mother ship. Keep us posted.

I agree. Sounds like time for a watchmaker to look at it.

4 years old - so no luck there. I'd rather go to an independent watchmaker. I don't need or want a refinish and Dallas will charge for it whether they do it or not. Their refinish quality has been very hit or miss in my experience.

The hour wheel has 2 little finger pawls that are kept in place by a v shaped spring sounds like the spring broke which would cause the hour wheel to stop moving which would also keep your calendar from working. Send it on down. Rikki
