Looks good, a little over polished, but not bad...this could also mean that it's been serviced regularly, which is a good thing. The second hand appears to have some corrosion, or it could be the lighting. I would love to see some better shots with out the flash on, as it tends to distort. Maybe a nice macro of the dial. What's the history of the watch?

Looks very nice, and personally, I think the lugs are well preserved and appear very nice also.

Nice looking watch. Difficult to fully judge on the dial and hands without better pics, as mentioned already, but looks good. Over polished crown guards. Nice lugs. Bracelet is hiding, so we don't know. Does it have any kind of history background / papers? Often times hands replaced by Luminovas in these watches, that would be one thing to look at. What's the asking price?

John, I was manily concerned with the left lug at 6:00....but it could also be the affect of the flash/shadow.

Nice example with what I believe is a service dial. Here is the link where the dial was discussed and Marcello won a bottle of champagne.

John, I believe you are correct. I missed that in the pics.

Thanks for your input!

It was serviced at Rolex NYC a few years back, service certificate is included as well as original box

This is my own pic from when I tried it on

a nice one, and serviced by Rolex, which is good - depends on price and what you desire, and where it falls in that regard.

it would make a fine daily wearer if the price is < $4.5k

1680 dial

the dial looks to be a Beyeler mk1 replacement ( still with tritium but produced in the 90s or late 80s) , as this one :

PS : ciao John, thanks for your kind messages !
