Is this a real or fake Patek?
Hi everybody.
I am a luxury watch newbie (I have owned citizen eco drives and one breitling) but I don't really know anything about watches. I saw this Patek Philippe on ebay and it looked too good to be true. Could you guys help me out by telling me what you think regarging the watch's authenticity. And if you do see things wrong, could you write them so that I can be aware in the future? Thank you so much! The image link is posted below: http://postimg.org/gallery/1swr02j8/ |

When you're trying to sell something like a fine watch that sells in the tens of thousands, it only makes sense to post good pictures of the product, unless, of course, you have something to hide.
That's just the way I see things. Oh, and don't expect too much in the way of details.

Wonderful Patek with Asian POS movement:
Unsure what's more pathetic. Losers who sell fakes, or losers who buy them, then photograph themselves wearing them and build online communities around their fakes. I lose all respect for any clown who is proud of his/her fake watch or fake anything.

I'd say that it would be a reasonable buy for $49.95 if it were not for the outrageous copyright infringement of both PP and VC.

Love the need to say that the strap is "genuine"
