Used 44mm ROO SS...

For Christmas, I was planning on purchasing the new 2013 Rolex YM 2 SS until I started lurking around the AP threads. Now the 44mm ROO SS has got me really thinking. First question I wanted to ask everyone here is if my budget is around $17,000 is it possible for me to even purchase the 44mm ROO used at that price? Second question is are there even any used 44mm SS models anywhere being that its a new model itself?

17K not possible for a SS 44MM. You are within budget on a 42MM SS on ROO bracelet. The cheapest I've seen on a 44MM SS is 22-23K

I've tried the rolex on and I thought it was just perfect. I dont know where there is an AP AD near me in Dallas, but I'll just google it. Whichever watch I decide on I was planning on purchasing from a trusted seller here on this forum. DAVIDSW's name seems to be consistantly popping up so I'll probably ask him near the end of November. Can anyone give me some feedback on David?

Go for the SS Novelty even if you have to save for a while. Then keep saving until you can trade up for the RG Novelty, this is a great plan... come to think of it why aren't I on this plan...

I bought an AP ROO rose gold rubber clad from David last month. It was the first time I had purchased from him and it couldn't have been easier or more professional. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again.

Good man, I'm now going on this plan too. And David has supplied half this forum with their APs so he is mustard.

Check out this vid showing the SS in its full glory. T4D also has a vid of the RG.

Save for the AP if that's what you really want.

I bought my AP Diver from David and have done several deals with him.

He's a good guy.
