Which one is the most comfortable: Sub or Sub-C?
Is the 5 digit Sub more confortable then the Sub-C? Are there less sharp edges? Im considering another Sub and was sure that the NDc was the right one but now Im also looking at the non ceramic ones and would like to have info on comfort. Other issue is that I always heard that guys with small wrists (mine is 6.75) can have problems to adjust the 5 digit Sub bracelet and sometimes they have to remove a permanent link and I also worry about that. I wear my Sub-C with 4 links at 6oclock and 4 + half link at 12 and the fit is perfect. I wonder if I can get a perfect fit like that on the 5 digit one as I dont have info regarding the clasp size on the new and on the 5 digit. Thanks for reading. Any thoughts will be much appreciated.

I have same size wrist. I don't find either one is more comfortable than the other. I guess the 5 digit is less noticeable in feel

The 16610 is lighter, but I get a better fit from the glidelock on my 116610 -- especially as my wrist size changes during the day.
I don't think I'd recommend adding an older sub. You won't wear it. |

I've got 4 links at 6 o'clock and 5 at 12. What difference would 4 + half link at 12 make while having the glide lock? Does it have any impact?

Btw I've worn both and I can't say I can tell a difference in one being more comfy than the other. I love my 114060 without a doubt though.

we talked about that on the other thread. you may be right, and probably no difference, but as I said my clasp is perfectly centered and I just guessed the half link at 12 would be the answer, but I can be wrong tho.

For the most comfortable Sub, try a 5513 or 1680 (if you need a date) and you will be sold...by far the most comfortable Subs out there. JMO!

Both are different watches but equally comfortable if fitted properly.

I've never tried on a sub-c but I can say that my 16610 is very comfy.

I find the 16610 to be more comfortable. The Sub C is too chunky with the "super lugs" case.

For me it's the Sub. But I haven't worn a Subc for days on end.
Only tried on so not a fair test. |

I find the 16610 extremely comfortable. I love my GMT-IIc BLNR (which should be similar to the Sub-C) but I find the 16610 more comfortable.

Really?? Won't wear it? I have both (several older subs and a WG SubC and DSSD). I rarely wear the ceramics. You just about can't pry a 5513 or 1680 off my wrist a great deal of the time. If it's not a plexi sub on my wrist it is a 16800, 16610, or 16610LV.

I have seen bnib 16610 showing up from trusted guys here. And TBH I always look at those amazing Subs and Sds from andrew shear (sheartime). The C line is the best out there but having the date and buying the ND sometimes seem a little too much..Have not decided what to do. I promissed myself I would buy just one more, so I must do my homework. Too many wishes for a short money. Thanks everyone for the inputs.

16610 for me...don't care the chunky lugs on the 116610. The glidelock is awesome though.

FTX I, I have the same size wrist and struggled to find a comfortable fit for my GMT. After reading this article,http://www.minus4plus6.com/bracelet.htm, I decided to pull a permanent link off the 6 side and the fit was perfect. Now I have 3 (3.5 if you count the clasp link) links on the 6:00 side and 6 links on the 12:00 side. I used the vice grips method. Just clamp and pull.
