Icon20 When quoting posts

Hi,

I wanted to make a suggestion. Is it possible to remove the feature, when someone quotes a post that includes a number of pictures, the pictures to be removed automatically?

It makes threads too long and seeing the same picture 10000 times is annoying and a waste of time.

Classic example look at the Rolex and attire thread
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthre...15077&page=279

Its a waste of bandwith, download time, disk storage and resources that thread or any other thread use which no doubt costs an arm and a leg to maintain/purchase to TRF owner.

Your thoughts are welcome!

It's me - not you. I'm tired. But I did enjoy quoting everything you wrote.

When you've seen one T-shirt you've seen them all.

Since it's not a configurable software option to automatically truncate subsequent quotes of pics, we are left with members choosing to self edit.

Some will, most won't.

The same image being referenced repeatedly should not affect hard drive usage or bandwidth in any way. It can get annoying, and I think most members edit the pics out, but sometimes it's helpful to quote a picture...I think disabling it would not be worthwhile.
