In any case, great watch, and one that will be enjoyed long after the money, whatever a guy pays, is forgotten. |

Actually
And this will be my last post on this subject, the OP originally was asking:
"but what's the ballpark value one can sell this watch?" And Applebook changed it around to: "but to advise potential buyers that paying that much for a mass produced watch" Is incorrect. I wasn't advising on what to pay, but rather what to sell it for. The OP was a potential seller. |

No doubt about it, the 2254.50 is destined to be a classic in the Omega line. I was fortunate to buy one of the last before they were discontinued. If you can find a good one you will not be disappointed as they are great watches. Cheers, Bill P.

Update:
I had an offer of 2.5k on mine (mint) and the same for my 2255 (lnib) and Im seriously considering it. That would help funding my 114060 to be pair to my 116610 and perhaps put an end to my eternal search for the perfect one. Bernardwatch is asking 3.295 for it. Prices are crazy. Great news for the owners. http://www.bernardwatch.com/Omega/Se...sional/OMG2160 |

Update II:
Both my 2254 and 2255 EB are now sold. Mint condition, 2.5k each. Bernardwatch 2254 is still there going for 3.295. So the real value of a mint 2254 is something in between this numbers. |

What about the 2230.50.Is this as sought after as the 2254.50?
A lot of people change the dial on the 2254.50 to the non A/C,I have one and I think it's the most comfortable and best looking of the 1120s. |

I actually like the fact that Omega didn't choose to update the model with a ceramic bezel and applied indices etc. as it was probably a design best left alone. I think the 'non-AC' 2230.50 is just as desirable and the dial fitted in to the 2254.50 case looks pretty tasty... |
