This is not fake but seek some advice
This is from a well known store in Melbourne. It is an older Daytona, I wont know if there are any fake parts until I ultimately take it in for service (which I would in first couple of months), they claim to guarantee its authenticity 100%. I am not the expert many of you are, the clasp is not correct I expect. It represents otherwise good value with our A$ having gone down 15% in last 6 moths and the ability for me to get a further 11% tax back, flying to USA next month. Are there any other obvious issues the band, and rest of the watch look genuine and good for age.
I guess I could update the clasp over time. With currency and tax back it will work out around $7.5K US which in our market at present is good value for a Zenith movement, I like the old style gold faces but expect they are not that popular which has impacted its sale to date. Any other advice, other than buy from a TRF seller, yes I would if currency and tax were not working against me and I had 13K for a Daytona. Clasp wont be a big worry to me if the mechanisms is crap that would. http://watchtime.com.au/brands/rolex...ytona-700.html
