11600 Retain Dial after service?
Hi guys
If I get my W serial SD serviced will they let me keep the tritium dial on it? And also do I need to specify to them not to change it? Thanks |

The only time they will require a part change is if something is not genuine Rolex.
Make sure they put in writing on the service order NOT to change the dial...

always specify.
if you drop it off at rolex direct, ask them to add the request to the workorder. if your ad is sending it via their outgoing repairs, tell them to mention it on the estimate request. easypeezy. |

They aren't going to change your dial unless you tell them to. At service they don't randomly change parts and expect you to pay the bill afterward..
They always give you an itemized breakdown of costs. If the Trit dial is no longer working they may "recommend" that you change it; if it is badly damaged and flaking into the movement they may "require" that it be changed before they do the service... You do not ever need to agree to the "recommended" items. But they will always get your approval first and you must agree to the costs before they do anything.. (if you use an AD the AD becomes your spokesman so you better tell them what you want and don't want up-front)
