it's time

Well I have amassed a pretty good collection of fine timepieces including several breitlings and omegas. I am going to hit 49 in May and it's time to purchase a sub, gmt or sea dweller. I am looking to spend around five thousand dollars on a used timepiece. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advanced
Al

Congrats in advance!

Have you tried any of them on? Do you dive? Need to track another time zone?

You can't really go wrong with any of the references you've mentioned. Buy the one that sings to you. And then, buy the one that got away...

For your price point, you should be able to find a nice example from one of the trusted sellers on the Board.

Welcome!

For that amount any of the three could be had

Don't know what watches you have so will go with sub as the Classic Rolex

I agree with Tom. For your first step into Rolex, I don't think you can do any better than the a Sub. It's a great watch to build a collection on. You may acquire other pieces along the way but it's hard to beat a Sub.

Can't go wrong with any of them but for me for the first I'd go with the Sub, a nice 14060M...

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure of the model numbers so "14060M" will definitely be helpful. I am going to go with the sub as suggested, If I can pull off a ceramic bezel that would be great...
Thanks again!

They are all great. Look for a deal from the "trusted sellers" here on TRF.

Mine is this year too. November. I'm hunting for something GOLDEN to celebrate 50. Already got the DD so I'm not sure what's next.

When is yours?

x2...or for $500 to $800 more, you could get a Pre-Ceramic Sub Date 16610 if the date function matters at all to you!
