it's time
Well I have amassed a pretty good collection of fine timepieces including several breitlings and omegas. I am going to hit 49 in May and it's time to purchase a sub, gmt or sea dweller. I am looking to spend around five thousand dollars on a used timepiece. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advanced Al |

Congrats in advance!
Have you tried any of them on? Do you dive? Need to track another time zone? You can't really go wrong with any of the references you've mentioned. Buy the one that sings to you. And then, buy the one that got away... For your price point, you should be able to find a nice example from one of the trusted sellers on the Board. Welcome!

I agree with Tom. For your first step into Rolex, I don't think you can do any better than the a Sub. It's a great watch to build a collection on. You may acquire other pieces along the way but it's hard to beat a Sub.

Can't go wrong with any of them but for me for the first I'd go with the Sub, a nice 14060M...

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure of the model numbers so "14060M" will definitely be helpful. I am going to go with the sub as suggested, If I can pull off a ceramic bezel that would be great...
Thanks again! |
