Hi guys,

The last few months have suddenly made me realise how important family and good health are.

Lose any one of those and you're screwed....good and proper!!

Watches are just a luxury which we indulge in. 99.9% of folk out there couldn't give a rat's ass about the watch they wear....as long as it tells the right time.

It's we watchnuts who give so much importance to watches. While I love and appreciate our beloved brand so much......I've also come to understand and realise the true meaning of family values and good health.

THANK GOD I HAVE THEM BOTH!!!

That is so great to hear JJ!!! Good health and family always comes first in my book. Without one or the other, there is no Jerome. I also feel so blessed that I have both as well!

My uncle always told me when I was younger, that you only live life once so you should enjoy it to the fullest. Life's also about making choices and how you respond to those choices. It was his advice that also led me to want to own a Rolex besides that my dad introduced me to the brand. Because for sure, these watches really make me enjoy life more, and I feel one of the purposes of living is to enjoy life.

We can own all the Rolex watches in the world and without family, friends, and health they don't mean nothin'!

We are truely blessed to wear a Rolex but it's only the icing on the cake.

Would you add friends as an additional (albeit lesser) component too? I value my friendships too, especially those who stay beside me through the tough times. I even value my new TRF friends!

David, friendships are absolutely included. These guys are much more than just guys to go play golf with. Throughout a lifetime, they are my peer-review group, business partners, next door neighbors, and role-models for my kids. They're buying rounds at the celebrations, and lending a hand at the mournings. Good friends that you will trust with your family, finances, and Rolex (

) are irreplacable. Couldn't imagine life without them.

you cannot get through life successfully without your friends. sometimes family(not in your case JJ) will abandon you, but in my experience, your friends are always there!
now can someone tell me how to get big pics like the great one Kevin posted? I have billions of digital photos. do i have to buy a macro lens? and then what's the trick of having BIG photos??

Dan,

I upload all my pics directly to the server using the "manage attachments" function. Basically, my shots are all taken on 5-8 megapixel digital point-n-shoot cameras; they come out to between 1.5 and 3 megs. I resize them in MS Photo Manager to about 30% original size (also has a compression function that is set for internet web-posting that makes them a little smaller). When they come out to about 200 kb, they're about right for filling up the screen on TRF without busting the size limit.

You might even say that those are the top of the list in important things. The best litmus test is to imagine those "final moments" thoughts and most people last thoughts would be of those they loved and been loved by.
