Icon7 Here's a little info...

Hello there!

From the pic you've provided, this is an Omega Speedmaster
Automatic with cal. 1045.

The case ref# should be 176.0012 and the watch comes in a
case that resembles the "Mark IV" Speedmaster case (the one
with the Cal. 1040), thus this model is sometimes called the
"Mark 4,5"...!

The Omega Cal. 1045 is also known as the Lemania 5100, its
original manufacturer's name. A wonderfully sturdy and accurate
automatic chronograph movt, with the added comfort of the
day-indication plus a 24-hrs-indicator at 12.

It was first introduced in Omega's product line around 1974, and
it developed into a rather large line with several other ref#s over
the years, the most famous being the so called "Grail Watch", the
ref# 376.0822, a cal. 1045 fitted in a slightly raised classic Speedmaster
Moon Watch case (that model came out - in pretty small numbers -
in 1987)!

It also made it into a "Mark V" with the ref# 376.0806, that was
introduced around 1984 and it supposedly was mainly sold within the
German market.

All in all, the Speedmaster Automatics with the cal. 1045 are great
watches that will provide stellar service for many many years, as
the Lemania 5100/Omega 1045 is really a remarkably sturdy movement!

I hope this helps...

B/R
