What have I got here?

I apologize in advance for knowing almost nothing about Omegas. An associate of mine is presently going through some temporary difficulties as a result of a divorce and has asked if I would be interested in purchasing this (along with other items that I do know something of).

It appears to be a 3513 (?). He stated he'd received it as a gift 15-20 years ago and wore it regularly until a few years ago. It appears to keep time, but probably needs a service.

Your expert knowledge is greatly appreciated.

Looks like the 3513.50 off top of my head. If so it is worth probably low to mid 1's and with service need. Get it really cheap. Gluck!

Great watch. I had one for about 7 years and loved it. It's got a 7750 under the hood, which you probably guessed. I still miss that one. Buy it!

Thank you, gentlemen.

My associate asked me to keep it over the weekend to decide if I wanted it and let him know on Monday. It lost about 10 seconds in the last 18 hours, most of it while sitting on my nightstand overnight.

In consideration of the other items I purchased from him yesterday, his price on this watch is high 3 figures and seems quite reasonable when considering it could do with a service and I'll need to add a link to the bracelet.

its a handsome watch with the typical long life of a good quality watch, including good servicing..I hope you enjoy it well..I do not know the model number but it goes by the name of speedmaster date, but I think it is a pretty early version as it doesnt have the screw down back that I have always seen this model with...hope you enjoy this fine watch in good health.

Good call. The case back is indeed different than the one on mine.

At that price it is prob worth picking up IMHO. Great bang for the buck. You will definitely enjoy the 7750 wobble, and the bracelet is super comfy.
