Very nice Gilt.
I would leave it alone. What's going on below the "SWISS"?

Looks like the tritium has started to chip off the marker. That happens it needs to be stabilized. Can't see any small flakes in the picture, hopefully in hasn't found its way into the movement. Chips of tritum maybe below the swiss - T can't really tell by photo.

Did this recently occur or did you purchase the watch flaked/scraped off?

Would not be good if the flakes enter the movement..

Oh oh. Exploded plots....I am sure the same stabilizing agent used for lume on hands would work on the plots.

No, Rolex doesn't repair, only replace..
A good restoration expert can seal the existing lume by applying a sealant. It sometimes darkens the lume pigment left there, but purists may prefer to keep the original intact as much as possible. A top notch specialist can replace the lume with Luminova, but, again, you are changing an original dial which is frowned on. A service dial would look good, or another option is to source a good era correct dial and replace yours.. All are choices and all affect it's value to some extent.

I agree and would just get the loose particles removed. The tritium is largely not functional at that age anyway, so having a chip out of it here or there wouldn't bother me, as IMO it adds character.

Looked fine in the first photo...
I would ask more about stabilizing it as it is but that is a nice dial and I would not want to change it or at the same, allow it to further degrade.
