Well, I *thought* I had mystery scratches on the ceramic bezel of my TTGMTIIc, but the story I posted on RolexForums earlier ultimately had a happy ending:

There was some kind of adhesive on the bezel that looked, acted, and felt like small scratches. I was pretty depressed about it and ready to send it in to the RSC. But on a whim and after a lot of work scrubbing away with alcohol pads, the mystery blemishes disappeared, leaving a pristine ceramic bezel underneath. I have no idea what the gunk was or where it came from, but it sure was difficult to remove.

Plenty of scratches in the gold bracelet (par for the course), but I'd say the ceramic bezel is pretty indestructible. My faith is definitely renewed.

Hi.

I've had mine for 10 months now. The gold surrounding the bezel attracts scratches as does the case to a minor extent. The ceramic bezel has NO scratches and just to emphasise - the gold numbers embedded in the bezel has a few scratches that couldn't end up there without put having first unsuccesfully tried to scratch the raised ceramic stuff even harder.
