I travel super light so one Rolex it is! It was my SUb but now I have Exp II with GMT function, that is the one. I often put Ipads or cameras in the room safe but couldn't STAND to let my Rolex have the chance or being nicked. When it's on your wrist you can keep an eye on it too[which is always an enjoyable experience anyway!]. Less worries = more fun travelling.

I usually take the watches I want to take. I don't frequent areas where I need to be concerned about it being stolen off of my wrist; however, I welcome that opportunity. I also don't worry about the hotel staff. I've used in room safes and the shoe technique. In the end, I get insurance for a reason. If I cannot enjoy wearing a watch, then I am better off without it.

If it's summer vacation two watches. One for diving a humble quartz Casio the other one is for other things. I leave it in case or entrust the watch to the hotel owner

I would only travel with one but that's just me. When I am traveling to my condo, I usually wear one and take an extra.

I used to but now only travel with one watch - it's just not worth the risk or hassle. Besides with this as a regular companion, I don't feel the need for much more.

I've taken extra watches with me on trips before and I have a travel case that holds several watches that I carry in my briefcase, that way it is always with me and there is no worry about hotel safes. If I were to get mugged, then I'm covered under my homeowners insurance.
