Try this...

I just picked up my DJ after being serviced and I want to keep it running to test its accuracy so I'm wearing it. I don't want Bluesy to stop running for now and I can't seem to take it off anyway because I'm still transfixed by this King of watches so I put Bluesy on my right wrist. I know, I know, I'm nuts but bear with me. Since I never wear a watch on my right wrist it is the weirdest feeling. It feels GOOD, to be honest. Bluesy feels like it weighs 10 lbs and I don't know why but I like the feeling. I may start switching wrists when wearing my watches. I wish it was vogue to wear one on each wrist every day but then I imagine I'd look like a street peddler, not that I have anything against that profession.

I always thought that the right hand is the proper side to wear a watch. I've never wore my watches on the left, it feels wrong.

Personally i have always maintained if you are right handed you wear your watch on the left so it does not interfere with writing etc and get banged about. and vice versa

I am R handed so wearing a watch on that hard will increase the chance for scratches and dings. It just makes sence to me to wear the watch on the hand that isn't digging under the sink for a wash rag or reaching under my seat for a CD that dropped on the floor. I guarantee that if I wore a watch on my dominate hand, they would not look the way they do today.

I'm a lefty and usually wear my watches on the right hand but it feels good on either. I just don't like how it bangs around on my desk when using a pen!

Why not get a winder?

seems like a fairly simple alternative to wearing a watch on each wrist...

And I agree...wearing a watch on your dominant hand will get much more banged up

I'm left handed and wear my watch on my left hand. However, I am somewhat ambidexterous as well. I shoot pistol, rifle and shotgun right handed -- I am right eyed dominant. I golf left handed and shoot my compound bow with a left handed bow. Go figure? Wear it where it feels right I guess.

Although you state that you don't want your Bluesy to stop running for now, still I'd give it a rest and wear the DJ on the left wrist as usual to adjust to your normal wearing habits.

Thanks Bo. That's exactly what I did today. Wow, it looks great! Bluesy will probably stop while I'm at work today which seems weird because it's the only watch I've worn since I bought it about 6 weeks ago. SuperDoc is right. I need to buy a watch winder, but that brings up a question. Besides saving the trouble of resetting the time and date do you think there is anything inherently bad with letting it stop frequently and resetting it? In other words, does this put more wear and tear on the crown, etc.? BTW, superdoc, are you a doc too?
