If this platinum dd is real, then it is the steal of the century!

Check this one out guys and girls.

http://cgi.ebay.com/2007-Rolex-Bague...QQcmdZViewItem

He makes a good point that everyone must start with zero feedback when selling, but I would imagine that a watch like this could be sold to a rolex dealer for much more than it's going for, or will go for. Just looks way too damn good to be true!

Let me know what you think.

Yes i understand about zero feedback BUT

There are no pictures of the certificate
No picture of the sales receipt
No pictures of the watch in the box

You have to ask why - would you not present these things if you had them- would make the sale much easier.

I would stay away.

Oh, I am most definitely staying away!!!

That's a 50k+ watch...no one in their right mind would put it on ebay with no reserve!

Plus, I don't have the money, so that just seals the deal

It's bullsh*t, I mean he can probably get much more on a trade in from an AD than selling it on Ebay. I bet the user hijacked a paypal account of a legitimate seller then sells this watch, takes the money and runs.

I don't think anyone would sell this at no reserve. Plus if his father passed away why wouldn't he just keep it instead of risking such a loss on E-Bay with no reserve.

I smell a rat and reported it. It only has 6 hours left to sell and it's only bid up to $3,000. If it was real, which I highly doubt, he'd be taking a bath on it.

He stole everything from a respected ebay seller--John Todd, AKA ebay id GENERALWAR.

if his father just left him the watch, maybe. but he claims HE bought it, so he knows exactly what its worth.
