Fluted bezel would make your DJII look bigger compared to your other pieces; I don't think you want this to happen. Smooth for DJII.

I like the way the fluted bezel throws light. My preference has always been fluted on DJ models.

I like fluted on the 36mm, and smooth on the 41mm. As far as dial color goes....both silver and blue are awesome!

I think they both look great; I'm certain if I had either I'd always like to have the other as well. The grass is always greener over the leach field as they say.

The blue stick smooth is my choice for the DJ II. I find the smooth bezel less sporty - really a classic look that you can wear with about anything. (The fluted bezel is nice too - I just like the smooth better.)
