No worries, I have heard the "short hands" argument and it will not sway me. That is amazing on the wife noticing if she gets tired of hearing and seeing watches like my wife does.

There was a time when I thought the Sub and Speedmaster were too much alike to justify purchase of the Sub. Now, as my perception of watches has evolved, I see, them as completely different, apart from being stainless steel sports oriented watches with black dials and bezels.

It's all about perspective. To some, they are three overly similar watches. To the fancier of watch design and function, to the collector, though, the differences are huge.

Get what your heart desires. You will be happier in the long run.

Thank you all for your comments...it seems the jury is in and the verdict is get what you like and no they are not redundant but rather complimentary to one another.

I think the Explorer will be the next one into the stable.

I have 14060m also and an Exp 2 though, not a 1. White dial.
I'd probably go for a new Sub 114060 in your position. What a simple, perfect black dial reference it is! Also , as with a BLNR, it'd be SO easy to resell it if you don't bond with it.

The Sub 114060 has crossed my mind but I don't think I could let my two liner 14060m go. I would have to draw the line at having the same style Sub in my collection. The BLNR I really like but then I have a Pepsi which would bring up a similar argument to this one.

Ahhhhhh it never ends, why can I just not be a one watch guy?
