Anyone servied their watch from wantwatchrepaired.com?

Hi gangs,

First of all, Happy father's day!! :)

http://www.wantwatchrepaired.com/

I came across the above website in searching for a certified independent Rolex repair store for my vintage Rolex and the service cost seems pretty good with a 3 year warranty at $199. The website says the company is located in AZ and the owner, Eric Michael, has 35 years + experience in the industry having an engineering degree presented by Hanry LeCoultre, a member of the famous Jaeger LeCoultre family in Switzerland.

One thing I'm concerned with is that I just can't find any oustide feedbacks about this company. Surely the website has a lot of satisfied reviews but I would like to see some objective feedbacks before I send it out to them with peace of mind.

With that said, anyone ever sent out their watch to this company?

Upon further research based on the phone number, this guy, Eric, used to own EMW watch repair which had a horrible rep. Good riddance I must say to myself.

If you have a vintage Rolex needing service then Rik Dietel at Time Care Inc. is your man. He is an CW21 watchmaker with 30 years experience and a Rolex parts account and does fantastic work. He is also a member here on the forum. Remember, if the price seems too good to be true, that is a RED flag. Do yourself a favor and call Rik. He will take good care of your watch! And yes, Rik has serviced one of my Subs and I am very happy.

I sent him a Tudor sub about 15 years ago to be serviced and relumed. Service seemed to be ok but the relume job looked like he used a a sponge to apply and built up the lume dots to the point that they looked like little balls of mold.

Feel free to Contact me if u want detailed info, but if this is a rebranding effort of Eric or EMW you are rolling the dice (best case scenario). IF that's him, he destroyed one of my 1680s and kept the original bracelet. It was returned to me outfitted with an aftermarket bracelet and a lume job that looked like poorly applied toothpaste. It was a horrible experience.
