The Fat Lady officially sings.......
Well I'm afraid the time has come to purchase my final Rolex, one that will remain on my wrist for the long haul
I've been told by wife and daughters that I spend to much time on the forums and watch sites so as per their wishes I will now buy the favorite of all the Rolex I have bought and sold over the years. Here is a list of what has come and gone GMT Coke D serial Sub ND 2 liner F serial GMT Ceramic Z serial Sub Date D serial GMT Pepsi L serial GMT Coke D serial Sub ND 2 liner D serial Daytona white dial V serial Yachtmaster SS Platinum F serial Sub date Ceramic G serial Milgauss Z Blue GV Random serial After careful consideration I have to say that the one that I just can't get out of my head is the Yachtmaster Platinum I loved that watch before I bought my first Rolex and I love it now. I have secured a mint condition G serial purchased new in 2011 and worn only on formal occasions It's a complete package and with the exception of putting an Easylink clasp and red date wheel on it, it's everything I want in a watch and more. Thanks for the years of enabling my addiction but it's time to move onto other things 1500 posts and it's been a blast I will pop in on occasion to see what's what but my buying days are over...........

You'll be back; it's in your blood and there's no escaping this madness. But if not have fun pursuing other interests.

I expected to see a Fat Lady GMT. But enjoy that YM and the sabbatical from the madness.

Congratulations!?! I hope you come back, at least occasionally! I've tried several times to tone down my activity here. Just doesn't work for more than a week or two. TRF just keeps drawing me back and I love it! I don't let it distract me to the point where people I care about are complaining about the time I spend here though. It's all about balance and this is a special place where I enjoy spending time here!

I envy your ability to own one Rolex.
I am unable to do it myself, although I aspire to do so one day and keep my missus happy in one go. |

Seems like you also really like GMTs? If you're going to slow down, at least pair up that YM with one. Then you'll be done. Honest.
