Icon14 FSOT: Rolex Daytona 116520 G-serial - White Gold Dial/Hands - $11500

Have you ever really liked a watch except for one feature that rubbed you the wrong way? It happens to me all the time. The addition of a cyclops magnifier, too much polished finish, etc... there's usually one thing on a watch that I would have changed if I had been the designer from the start. Most folks either 1) move on to the next watch or 2) decide to live with it. I, however, tend to bite the bullet and get it done. Fortunately, I have yet to be disappointed, however, it doesn't mean that I keep the watch forever. So if you're of a similar mindset to me, now is the time to jump on a great deal.

Here's the rundown on this watch - it started its life as a black dial Rolex 116520 Daytona, G-serial. I purchased a slate racing dial and handset from a white gold model and had it installed by ABC WatchWerks. At the same time, I asked them to apply a brushed finish to the watch in accordance to other Rolex sport models - to get rid of some of the bling. The result was, in my mind, the perfect Daytona. Legible and functional, with the excellent caliber 4130 inside, without the bling of the polished steel or hard-to-read dial/hands of a stock SS Daytona. A truly one-of-a-kind watch now.

The watch still includes the complete box and paper set as well as the original dial and hands in case you wanted to revert it to stock dial/hand configuration. The watch is in excellent condition and only shows light scratches on the clasp and bracelet from normal wear. This was an expensive watch to complete, but the end result was perfect.

My price is $11500 NET (shipped). Payment via wire preferred. Paypal, cashier's check, or money order okay, but you cover fees based on your choice of form of payment. I will cover shipping and insurance within CONUS. I have countless references on numerous forums for many high-dollar transactions. Contact me with any questions.

All trades considered, but due to NUMEROUS scam attempts lately, I will ask that you ship to me first unless you can provide me solid references of transactions with forum moderators (I can on multiple forums). Thanks.
