North Flag and New Pelagos Owners...
Have you tried overnight positions for regulation, and if so did it work? I'm wondering if the new in-house movement is as sensitive to crown-up, face-up, etc as the ETA movements.

I have not as my new Pelagos Blue is running plus 1 second a day in normal wear. Mine is getting a lot of wrist time but when I am not wearing it I am still good on the time. I am very impressed with the watch and the movement.

Adam,
My Pelagos has been running pretty consistently about +2 since I first wound it up. That's been a little over a week. And I usually leave crown up in its resting position. Last night, just for fun, I tried crown down and this morning it was spot on to where it was before I went to bed. Usually it's about +1. I promise I'm not as obsessive as this all sounds...as being fairly new to Tudor, I have been paying a lot closer attention to the time keeping than I usually do. Really! The thing that is really striking to me is the power reserve. I gave this watch well over two days off this week, and it was running strong when I strapped it on for the weekend. So to answer the question, it looks like there may be a slight difference in the sensitivity to positional placement, but it's still early. I will keep you posted as time goes by. |
