1965 Thunderbird

I know little about the datejust thunderbird series but I found this at Chrono24.com and thought it looks nice, and it's from my birth year.

Thoughts from the experts here would be most welcomed.

Thanks!

Believe it or not, I think that's all the money for a 1625 without a bracelet. If it was me I'd be more inclined to pay a few hundred more and have it on a jubilee or oyster but birth year watches are not everywhere.

The pluses, the bezel looks sharp and the dial and hands look original but the lugs looks to have seen a few polishes, not bad but the chamfers are gone, but heck it's 50 years old

They are a cool watch, I love my vintage which is a 5 number serial

Can't add much to this thread as I don't own and don't know much about them, but I have to say, (IMHO) it is one of the most attractive models Rolex every produced!

Not sure how long you have been in the market, but may want to wait. An original bracelet would be nice.

Not an expert, but I believe I would keep looking for one on an original bracelet.
