Not sure... Once Had a sub as an only watch and it was perfect but can't imagine going back... Could make a case for each of these as the keeper.

Conundrum... my Seamaster that is my first nice watch and I bought after closing a big deal. My IWC Portugese that was a wedding gift. My brand new GMTIIc NR that was (justified as) a 10th wedding anniversary present. I have too many attachments to my watches to get rid of any. But, in all I'd probably keep the Omega. It is a rugged tool watch but also is good enough in a dressy situation. That kind of describes the Rolex too... this is hard.

I would have to go with the Platona. It is so versatile. Can be worn with a suit, a night on the town, and even to the beach. Plus, there is just something so satisfying about platinum.

Easy for me also, as I only have one. I was at the mall today (mainly carrying bags for my wife!) and stopped in to the local AD and looked (again) at a 114060. Beautiful, but glancing at my wrist I just didn't feel the urge to become a collector....

Out of all my Rolex and Tudor collection, I'd probably stick with this for functionality...timezone bezel, date, stopwatch, 150m WR, tough as nails, fantastic lume, and the best timekeeper (for now, at least) in the collection.

My dad's 1968 1675 GMT Master. It's not as period correct as I'd like (he always had Rolex service it, and it has had a new bezel insert, a new dial, and new hands, over the years), but it's one that I'll never get rid of. If I didn't have that one, it would probably be my pre-moon Speedy. I have other watches I really like, but which I could see myself selling ('98 Explorer II, '70 DateJust, '96 Tudor 79180, Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Double Retrograde), and then a half dozen or so that I'd sell if I needed the money for something else.
