How to get tritium hands darker ??

Have this beautiful dial and tritium hands for a GMT 1675.

I would like to have the GMT-hand and the second-hand a bit darker to match perfect to the dial.

How do watchmaker do this ? Can I do it for myself ?

Does anybody know......???

That looks like paint in the 24 hour hand already. You would relume them to match is one way. Or look to buy a matching hand or set.

Don´t want relume them, because I would like to keep them with tritium.

So I would like to know how to paint them......

Search for Vinatge Lume paint in evay. But better a watchmaker apply it.
There is no way to artificially make them darker , unless you apply something on them... something like lume paint.
I guess you could apply a hobby non-lumed paint as well, but it would not hold strong on the UV light.

I have seen tea soaked dials and hands, happens way more than you would want to think.

To the op are you happy removing the hands and dial? It can't be done in the watch, the reason for aging lume is usually to match a damaged indice or hand with the rest of a watch.

Dial and hands are still removed. I want to darken the hands first and then to put dial and hands in the watch by a watchmaker.....

Do you know how tritium reacts to water (or tea.....) ???

Hi,
Radium was no longer used in watches by the 1970's. If tritium was used, only about 1/8 of it should be left now, so the night glow should be much dimmer than when new.
