Removing extension link from Seadweller??
Can the extension link on a ceramic Seadweller be removed? There is a screw head on both ends of the link, but I'm not positive it comes off. Specifically, on the end of the extension link closest to the end of the bracelet, I see the screw head on one side of the bracelet but I don't see the hole on the opposite side where the threads would screw in.
Right now I'm in the dilemma of needing to remove 2 standard links from the 12 o'clock side of the bracelet and it would be more comfortable to remove the extension link and leave the other 2 links attached. Anyone else run into this? |

A lot of folks have done that. If you don't intend on using it take it off. It will wear better.

The suggestions were great...Rolex really put a lot of Loctite on the Diver's extension and it didn't want to budge!! When I tried to move it at first and then saw there wasn't a hole on the other side of the bracelet I began to second guess whether it could come off or not. It's off now and sized to perfection...thanks for all the help! ![]() |

Thanks to TRF I had my AD pop it off day 1. Seems it's a must.

For me, the SDc is much more comfortable sans diver's extension.

My ad did it for me. Took a minute. Best fit. Left glide lock in the center.
