Wrist cut by diver tank buckle
Hi,
I was feeling some pain on my wrist and realized that my wrist was cut by the tank buckle of the diver watch. Upon closer examination I realized that the outer edges are very sharp. Anyone experience my encounter and any recommended solution. Cheers |

Yes, that is an issue. AP has options for other buckles with a more wrist-friendly finishing. Honestly, the difference is great on comfort and it is impossible to notice the difference in design with bare eyes. I would strongly recommend you to contact AP to get this solved. I love AP but never understood these razor sharp edges on most ROOs.

Ok I had the same at one point, was wearing it very tight and for some time nothing happened and one day it started, so I wear it one notch less and it's fine...

I had the same problem on my 44m ROO. Sent it to APSC and they polished the sharp edges off. I knew it wasn't normal since my other buckle was not as sharp and other ROOs I've seen were not they sharp either.

No, I have not had this issue with my Diver. As someone already mentioned, maybe you are wearing it too tightly.

I have handled many AP tang buckles and from my perspective they are most sharper than they should be (even when they don't come to the point of hurting the wrist, which sometimes they do). But your AP contact should be able to get you a better one upon request. Bottom line is, IMHO AP should standardize their tang buckle at a less sharp finish.

In my view AP bucket sharp edges is raw work without putting in the any effort for a great finishing.
I will contact AP to see what alternatives they can offer. |

Never had any issues with my Diver - and I wear my watches pretty snug on my wrist - while allowing some movement.
If you loosen one notch does it move around too much? (I know there can sometimes be a big difference) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I actually used the rubber and tang from a 42mm ROO on the AP Diver, made it more comfortable for me.
