1970 Oyster Date Losing Time

Hello. I have a 1970 (ish) Oyster Date that was last serviced three years ago and it has suddenly started to lose around five minutes a day. It's a manually wound watch that I wear every day. Is it time to have it serviced again or might the loss be indicative of a bigger issue? What is the recommended service interval?
