SS seems to fit most situations. TT calls for a special occasion. Owning both may be a better option. Best is being able to choose from three, including the 18K.

Hi Golf Guy. I made a comment about the 116713ln in my introduction in the new members section ("I have loved every second of Rolex Membership" - 24 July.) In short I have owned a SS Rolex albeit a Date model since 1998 and it has flown in stealth mode very much under the radar unnoticed. In May this year I bought a TT 116713 ln and this watch is definitely picked up by the radar and beeps and flashes! What I mean by that is that whilst the two GMT's are similar in form, the TT will most likely get noticed more and you need to be comfortable with that. With regard to your comment that the SS can be worn with anything all of the time, that is true however equally I have worn my TT with shorts and TShirt and formally too and it feels great in both situations. Asthetically both brilliant watches and no wrong decision but just thought I would put that out there into the melting pot as another consideration. Good Luck

Damn I love TRF... thanks for all the input guys... like with most other threads I have read on this... it seems 50/50... but I do enjoy reading other members thoughts. To answer some questions my wedding ring is platinum and I will be 30 this fall :)

I like them both....as to which one a person (of any age) should get...the only way I know is try them both on a few times...and then you will know which one you really want....and if you want them both (and are on this forum) it is only a matter of time.

I've had my 116713 for a few months now and have had a very similar experience so far. The watch is much more versatile than I originally believed it would be. I wear it almost every day, for most occasions, in almost any setting - it really is a great watch. It's the only TT which has really drawn me in! Definitely go to an AD and put them both on your own wrist - that's really the only way to know for sure...Good luck with your decision and we want to see photos of the final decision!!

Get it in SS, save up and get the GMT II in solid 18kt yg. It looks so good in all yellow and black!

I'd choose TT over LN.
