Quick update: my BBB seem to have improved to -5 seconds a day for the last couple of days (I use time.gov website to time it).

So i'm now losing 10-12 seconds. I'm going to send my watch to get regulated.
Does anyone know the typical break in time? I've been wearing this watch nonstop for about 3 weeks now. |

I don't think there is a hard and fast break-in time on that movement, but I would let it go for 2 more weeks to see what happens, then have it regulated.

I've been wearing it everyday for most the day and I've been pretty active. The thing is last night I left it face up and it lost 6 seconds in about 12hrs...

So I went to my AD and they confirmed that my watch was losing 12-13 seconds a day. They said they demagnetized it and it reduced it by about 7 seconds. I thought that was odd seeing how most of the time magnetized watches gain time not lose time. Anyways the watch is getting sent to RSC in Dallas.

To update: when I wear my BBB 24/7 it looses 5 seconds a day. If I leave it off (face upwards) for 12 hours, and on for 12 hours, it looses about 15 seconds a day. I guess, I still need to take it back to RSC.

I set mine three days ago and it's running -2 seconds. I checked it when I got it in November and it was good but not great, so it seems to be improving.

Another update: after the second trip to RSC, my BBN settled at a consistent +3 seconds a day. I am happy with this performance.

Had my BBN two days, and so far it's +3.5/day resting crown up overnight. Not as good as my Explorer which was +1 from the start, but better than my GMT2c came from the factory
![]() It seems like many folks here are talking about how their BB movement "settled in." Is this more common with ETA? My Rolexes never really changed how fast/slow they were unless I had them regulated. |

My BB black is my most accurate watch at about +1.5 SPD. My LVC is about -2SPD. I think my ROO is still settling.

Got mine in November and it was running an average of +6 seconds a day. Noticed in January that the crown engraving wasn't fully coloured in so sent it back to Rolex. It came back early March and Rolex have worked their magic on it. Wore it for 3 weeks, on average for 7 hours a day, and it lost a total of 4.5 seconds! Last week I was on holiday so it spent 12 plus hours a day on the wrist and it gained 2.5 seconds in total over six days.
Very happy.

First day I was horrified to see mine was 5 minutes out, then remembered I set it early on purpose day before.

-11 per day since I've had it. Maybe 2 years ? Very consistent though.
