This situation would, I guess, vary from country to country and place to place.

My AD has at least a couple on open display. I heard in London there's a waiting list; but, like I said, it would vary all over the world.

I've seen a sub date many times in vegas and at the rolex store in south coast plaza. I would imagine that you would be able to find one soon. If you don't want to drive to far (south coast plaza) try ben b., if they don't have one at hand they can order from one of their other stores and get it to you by the next day or so.

Here in Mexico every Rolex store I have visited in the last two months has a Submariner date and even a Sea Dweller. All of them M series. That means that they sell fast, but Rolex still making enough of them.

There was one in the AD purchased from in case. I didn't want it because it had been handled by who knows how many casual shoppers. So, I had them order one up for me BNIB. Took 2 weeks.

In Portsmouth UK, the AD has a 3 months waiting list. I have another 2 months to go before I get mine.

From what I've heard the new AD in South Coast Plaza is huge...I can't believe they wouldn't have one. No matter where you are in LA (assuming you're not driving during rush hour of course) the drive shouldn't take you much longer than an hour (and many places even less). Is there a reason you wouldn't consider going to OC? Just call ahead of time to verify they have one so you don't waste a trip.

My local AD has 2 SS Sub Dates in the case. He has 2 LVs in the case too. He has two of most sport models for that matter. Seems unusual to have the kind of stock. Economy stinks and people probably are not buying.

Well i ordered mine 1 week ago and was advised a 4-8 week wait, my AD only gets deliveries from Rolex once a month!? When i asked about the Sub Date my AD said as soon as they come in they sell straight away so its always a case of waiting and being on a list, 1st come first served etc

So at worst i still have 7 weeks to go Yet the Oyster date just we ordered for my wife at the same time will be onlt take 3 weeks from Rolex?

when i bought mine in Boston a few months ago, 1 of only 10 ADs had them... Just go on ROlex's website, find the list of AD's and start calling around, someone will have one...

Just talk to Tempoking (Anastasios) here on TRF if you are looking for a Sub.

He can get just about anything for you at wonderful savings and he is 10000000000% Legit. A wonderful person whom I have purchased from before.

I don't think I have ever gone to a AD in Arizona and not seen a sub date. I would check a few AD's, how can a Rolex AD not have one of their classic watches in stock.
