Well I don't have a sapphire Tudor Sub but if I was in the market for one and a 'loose' one came up I guess I'd be willing to pay around the £700-800 ($1380-1580) max but I'm a B+P kind of guy so I would wait until a full set one showed up and pay a bit more.
A pic would be nice

Well I just paid alot more for one. I'm hoping to put it away for a couple of years. I think it's the last year (model) of the big subs. I also think it has an acrylic crystal. not sure. anyway thks a bunch.

Yes your correct - it is the last model of Tudor Sub before they introduced the Hydronaut but it does indeed have a sapphire crystal, the 79090 that pre-dated the 79190 had the acrylic crystal. If you able to post a pic of the dial I can tell you right away which one it is.
A nice watch to have though

Your correct on the crystal. I am buying a camera tomorrow as our other is malfunctioning. I've bought a few full size tudor subs to stick away for a few years. The 79090 and the 79190 seem almost impossible to find. maybe I'm just not looking in the right places thks
