Not only do I only own one rolex, I only own one watch! I am content with the piece. I would like to add another rolex down the line when I have more disposable income.

I only have one Rolex, but I wouldn't leave my collection with just one. I'm not sure what I'll add next, but another Rolex will come my way soon.

I was content with one for a long time. It is a 5 digit SS Sub. Then I added a TT Sub which I subsequently flipped for a TT GMTc and have since added a hulk.
For a long time I felt that if I had more than one I would wear the newest and the others would not see wrist time. When I pulled the trigger on the TT Sub I found out I still wanted to wear my SS Sub after the novelty of the new sub wore off and rotating became the norm. |

I'd love to be content with just one, but I find myself wanting another whenever I purchase the "dream" watch. It happened with my Tudor oysterdate which turned into me getting the airking, and now it's a 1604 Datejust. They're like Lay's chips, just can't stop at one!

I to like the idea of having a single, lifetime Rolex. Granted, I have never been much of a collector. My spending habits tend to begin with accumulating numerous examples of what I'm interested in, and then, once I get a sense of what I want, I pare everything down and keep only my favorite. I've already done that with Rolex, and it's the 16610.
Plus, I happen to think this guy is cooler than someone who sits (or blogs) around collecting watches in various shapes, sizes and colors...like high heels. https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/op...-one-watch-guy |

I intended to have just one..a Sub similar to the original James Bond [Sean Connery] watch. Planned it fro decades. Researching those got me to Trf and now I have three! The second [Exp II] was bought from from a fellow member here. I wouldn't say I was UN happy with it!

Not if you're on this forum. Lol. I was happy with my SS Daytona until I joined this forum and I recently purchased the TT Sub Bluesy 👍. GMT II BLNR is next. Haha

For now I'm ok with one. Unless you consider the Pelagos a Rolex. If so two is better.
