I am itching for a zenith......and i am itching for a nice gold watch. I prefer the 16528 as i can take the bracelet off and have a really nice watch on leather. Is the watch too garish? I am assuming it would not be an every day watch as it would mark too easily.

Would it be considered vintage?

What is the collectability of it?

I am looking at a later model around the last run or so. I would prefer tritium. I don't think i will be lucky enough to get an inverted six.

I for one don't consider it vintage.
I do think the Zenith Daytonas are one of the Rolexes with a great upside and will be considered vintage in about 5 to 10 years.

What do s the deliniating feature to be "vintage"? Is it Matt dial or 4 digits? I have a 16800 with a Matt dial which I think is vintage. I guess I look at it like models away from new. The 16800 is before the 116610 and the 16610 so I considered it vintage. With the 16528 it is further from the 116528 and now the ceramic version so it is 2 models away.

Is the gold pretty sturdy or will this watch be worn sparingly?
