Drinking a Josh Cab from CA tonight that we picked up as Costco. It's a nice one, especially at the $15 price point.

Simple white tonight... Tasty for around $20!

Tasting Notes
This Chardonnay exhibits beguiling aromas of limes, orange blossoms, peaches and toasted almonds with a bit of spice from the barrels. Flavors of red apples, pears and cream follow. Our Chardonnay is known for its long, rich and elegant finish, and this vintage is no exception.

How'd the '92 Alexander Valley hold up? I had a '97 earlier this year and it was starting to lose it's fruit but still holding on.

It's well beyond its peak but still drinkable. It would have been more enjoyable 10 years ago

Thanks! We have 2 more of both the 97 Alex and Napa in the cellar. I pulled one of each plus some others for a friend's birthday this weekend. Should be fun to see how they've all held up, but pulled a magnum of a favorite Bordeaux style red blend from WA for something younger as well.

Sassicaia is one of my fav's, you just need to decant it 9 hours before drink it, and I'm only partially kidding..

It does need time in decanter but not as long as a Barolo

Love that old-school label!! I miss the old Cabernet label, I miss the old Cabernet juice as well, they've been disappointing for the last 10 years IMHO

It was Caymus Zin earlier this week.
Had a too young Caymus Cab tonight celebrating my daughters 18th birthday.
She has been sick all week and hasn't gone to school.
