SEADWELLER: M serial Vs Z and below

ok,

help me understand this: Why does M series command such high prices but Z and below like D & F do not?

Is there anything technically different in M than in older versions?

Or

Is the hoopla merely from the "last manufactured letter" ?

thnx

There is no difference on a Seadweller probably since 2001 or so.

I would say since the Y model forward... Is that about right SD followers..?

The "M" is possibly the last serial for the SD, hence more collectable...a little BS IMO!

The last change in the SD occured in mid Y serial (2003) when Rolex went to the no hole lugs. The 16600 always had SEL.

They are identical. The M is newer and will command more money.

If you were going to buy a car and you found 2 of the same model and they were in the same condition and for the same price, would you buy the 2008 or the 2006?
