Interestng shopping list there..

You are basically saying that you have an Explorer movement...

Perhaps one of our watchmakers would have your answers.. Generally expect about 300 bucks for a bezel, or just about 50 bucks for only the insert.

A Crystal can be from 100 to 200 for either Acrylic or Sapphire.. Wouldn't know what a new case would cost. Any of these services would probably require a full overhaul of the movement for about 500 bucks..

You know, you can send these into a Rolex Service Center and they will evaluate everything, prepare an invoice and tell you exactly what is needed and what it will cost. If you don't like the prices, you can have it sent back.

Hey thanks for the response tools. I know I can send it in but I'm not really in the financial position to do this now so i figured i'd save the time and just ask you guys :)

You might be thinking "why does this guy have two rolexes when he can't afford to take care of them?" Well one was a gift from my late father and the other was his. The explorer followed me through the Air Force and took quite a beating. nasty ding on the case and a few scratches on the crystal. I'm about to start grad school for my MBA now so hopefully I'll be able to take care of these things in a few years.

You know...

With laser welding technology today, many dings can be filled and then polished out and you would never know it..

I don't know the cost comparisons but I would think it would be cheaper than a new case..

From what I know (which isn't much), Rolex does not sell the case nor the bezel insert. The closest you can get to a bezel insert is to buy the whole bezel complete.

With crystals, there's a significant difference between acrylic and sapphire's cost. Cost-wise, the sapphire costs 4-5x more than the acrylic when purchased from Rolex. (Though total cost charged by your watchman may not reflect that big of a difference since they might choose to "make more money" on the acrylics than the sapphires.)

.........)
Sky..

Somebody has been giving you some bum info.

Replacement of inserts on both the Sub and the GMT is a pretty common thing..

I've lost one from a Sub and my AD has had one in-stock for replacement and replaced it while I waited. As for the GMT, they have told me anytime I want to change, just bring it in.. they will order one..
