Should I buy a rolex out of country?

Hey everyone. I'm going to Las Vegas in a few weeks, and I know there is a Rolex dealer there that takes old Rolex watches back for trade in value towards a new one. Last time I was there i was quoted just over $4000 for my TT Date to go towards a Yatch-Master. I'm was planning on buying a Yatch-master in the near future anyways, can any of you think of a reason why I should NOT buy the watch in vegas, and just buy it at a local authorized dealer in Canada? The watch is already cheaper in the US, plus with the trade in value I would end up saving a lot of money. I'm just worried I might have a problem having it served in the future if the country code is from the US. Anybody have any thoughts on this, or some advise?

There is no reason to be concerned about Warranty service on a genuine Rolex watch, regardless where the country code is from..

After the warranty period, nobody will know where it came from.

I doubt you will have any problems. For a Canadian, now is a good time to take advantage of the exchange rate. Hope your purchase works out well, good luck.

I bought one of mine in Germany and one in the US. I live in the US and never had a problem getting them serviced.

I was down in Vegas for WSOP and I have went to most of the Rolex store on the Strip and They wouldn't give any discount on the Sub 16610 that I wanted. The only discount you will get is if you ship it to another US city and you will save on the taxes. There is a Rolex store in Wynn Casino

Like the others have stated, take advantage of the exchange rate, if you can score the yachtmaster, then go for it!
