Rolex Occasions?

For those who own multiple rollies, do you only wear certain rollies for certain occasions and why? I pretty much have a routine for mine.

I own a Polar Dial Expy II, GMT IIC and SS Daytona (Black)

Polar Dial Expy II: I wear to work Mon-Thurs because it is less flashy and I consider it to be my "daily beater." I also prefer to wear it if I know I might be active outdoors during the day like swimming.

GMT IIC: Weekend watch. I wear it on casual Fridays, to the bar and out with friends. It's a little more flashy and now that I have a couple of scratches on the clasp so I'm a little less anal about it bumping things if and when I have a couple too many to drink

SS Daytona: Just got it so unsure at this point. Still a little protective as it has yet to get that first unavoidable scratch on the clasp. Therefore, I can see myself wearing it shopping (less of a chance of knocking it on something) or a more formal and subdued occasion.

I'm curious to see if others have a similar thought process.

Got a black face DJ & champagne face DD. Which one depends on my cufflink colour. Weekend choice depends on where I'm off to

I am a one-watch guy, so I just wear the GMTc for all occasions. The SD and Omega are safe queens for now.

Expy II

is a great daily beater. It is one of the most comfortable Rollie.
Weekend just depends on my mood

I do tend to think about the occasion I am going to be at to determine which watch to wear..

Outdoor daily activities... usually the EXP II/Sub.

Travelling.... GMT/EXP II

Up Scale Evening out... Daytona/TT Sub/Speedy

Evening with friends....... GMT/Sub

Pool parties....Sub/SMP

Barbecues...........GMT/Sub/SMP

Formal wear.......Vintage Omega Seamaster/ Daytona

Ocean Cruise........ Sub/SMP

But these aren't hard and fast.. Sometimes one of the Mickeys comes out.. or something else..

I wear whatever I feel like wearing at the time, if had a schedule of how I wore my watches, I'd go nuts! I can honestly say that I put less than a second into choosing what I am going to wear. Just wear them and enjoy them.

Friday my wife caught me sleeping in the guest bedroom with SS Daytona on left wrist, and platty YM on right wrist...

So is sleeping qualified as an "occasion"

Apologies!

Just re-read the first line of the original post for a bit more comprehension, as I am not an owner of multiple "Rollies" don't, yet, have that "problem".

If/when however I do, it would still be tough to get the Sub off my wrist, love that watch!!

Haha well kinda. Actually my gf did it because I was spending so much time on TRF instead of spending time with her. She thought that if she looked like my ExpyII that I would pay more attention to her. Oops!

That's too funny. It sounds like she has a great sense of humor.

Great question. I don't have a strict routine, but usually wear :

Exp 1, 116200 DJ, SS Sub Date - during the week, for work
GMT II - when traveling internationally
TT Blue Sub, Sea-Dweller - weekend
14060 - whenever
