precision date
is the rolex precision with a date window always marked on the face as date. I am thinking of buying it, but it says Rolex on top of face and precision near the 6. It does not have the word date anywhere on the dial. Please let me know.

Date is the model- precision is not a model name. you also have oyster Perpetuals with Precision on the face.
any pictures and how old is the watch and does this one have a date Welcome

even today i see Datejust with an alternating red and black date wheel- it is just another nice rolex feature that is available on some models.

Martin - that really is a wonderful watch you've got. I love it
Agreed - my DJ has the alternating Red/Black numbers and it's a great feature

Should this watch say something about oyster or date on the watch?

well it is definitley a manual wind date precision- but i am genuinely not sure if it must say oysterdate on the dial. as you know must do but maybe not all of them.
