This is so ridiculous. Why wouldn't you wear the Rolex to college? You'd be paying thousands of dollars for a watch that you won't wear...
There are kids who drive Mercedes, BMWs, etc. to college. Do you think they ever thing about that? If you keep your Rolex on your wrist 24/7 and don't act like an idiot, you won't lose it and it won't get stolen. I bought my watch about a month ago, I'm 17, and I plan to wear it next year to college. Just make sure you insure it.

Being concerned is not quite as ridiculous as you think. College is a pretty different world.
But I appreciate all of responses!! I go back and forth, I lean towards getting one particularly when I see other students wearing them, but also less so when I get accosted for money at 3 am, or fall down a beer soaked stairs. Thanks again, this is a really excellent resource! |

I wouldn't worry about getting jumped, it might happen but chances are it won't.
Buy it as soon as you can, you won't regret it. Once it's on your wrist your worries will fade away. Colder weather is around the corner, soon you'll be wearing long sleeves. Never take it off (unless you have to clean it) even when you go to bed (ladies like a bit a roughness) Make sure you pull down your sleeve when you think it isn't safe. Above all wear it in good health. |
