New Datejust 41

Hi all,

My first post. Am looking to buy my first Rolex, and have spent a while checking out various models recently.

The option I found to be my perfect choice was the Day-Date 40, but as it's only available in white gold, the price is too high for me at between GBP 25,000-30,000.

I am looking to spend between GBP 5,000-10,000.

I have found a Datejust 41 on the Rolex site using the guided search, which is very similar (but hopefully a lot cheaper), and it ticks all of the boxes for me looks wise, as what I am after is:

• Large size – 40/41mm
• Steel material (to keep the price low)
• Jubilee bracelet
• Fluted bezel
• Black dial with the dashes for the hours, not the numbers or Roman numerals

The one I saw online, reference 126334, only shows an option with a silver dial. Does anyone know if this model is available with a black dial?

Everything else about it is perfect.

I have one more question though, when it says the material is 'steel and white gold', what part of the watch is white gold? I'm wondering how the white gold affects the price...

Any advice would be appreciated, as I want to set my heart on the perfect and affordable option, and then save up money for that model.

Thank you in advance.

I presumed that white gold refers to the bezel around the "glass"....

Correct the WG is the fluted bezel.

You will find the price much more palatable. The only SS version will likely not hot stores for a few months, so start saving.

White gold only if you choose the fluted bezel. The smooth bezel will be full stainless and list for a tick above $7k considerably less than the DD. I think fluted bezel adds 2-3k
